Doug is a native of Monroe, Louisiana and returned to Monroe after graduating from Mississippi College School of Law in 1993. He has had the opportunity to practice in state district courts and Federal court statewide for almost three decades. Since 1993, Doug has represented insurance companies, businesses and individuals in a wide variety of cases around the State of Louisiana.
He received his training and certification in civil, commercial and employment mediation from The Mediation Institute of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in October 2018. As a mediator, he works tirelessly before, during and after a mediation to assist parties in reaching an amicable resolution of their case.
